Post-partum care that lets a new mother actually rest

Traditionally, a new mother’s own mother comes to stay, omugwo, ojojo omo, the first forty days. But grandma may be abroad, unwell, or simply unable to come. Insyt FamilyCare provides the professional version of that support: trained hands for mum and baby, anywhere in Nigeria.

FAQ

Post-Partum Care, questions families ask

What is included in post-partum home care?
Recovery monitoring for the mother, newborn care support, feeding and bathing assistance, night support options and daily reporting, tailored at the in-home assessment to how the delivery went and what support the household already has.
Can care start immediately after delivery?
Yes. Many families arrange the assessment during pregnancy so care begins the day mother and baby come home. Message us with your expected due date.
Do you support mothers recovering from a caesarean section?
Yes, post-caesarean recovery combines our post-surgical protocols (wound monitoring, mobility support, vitals) with newborn care support.
Is this the same as omugwo?
It’s the professional complement to it. Where family can come, we work alongside them. Where they can’t, we provide the trained, structured version of that traditional support, with clinical oversight.
Is post-partum care available outside Lagos?
Yes. We deploy post-partum care professionals to all 36 states and the FCT.
